Get Ready for Business Disrupted
Disruption used to have negative connotations, but when it comes to business, it can be a fantastic way to cut through the clutter and embrace the changing face of industry. If that’s something you’re interested in, then we have created the perfect panel for you. As part of our Women In Business Conference happening at the Burlington Hotel, Birmingham on Thursday, October 7th, we have a stunning lineup of panelists to discuss this very topic.
Leading the Business Disrupted panel will be Martin Levermore, founder and Chief Executive of MDTi. MDTi works with the NHS regionally and nationally to commercialise and bring to market innovative products and service ideas. Martin is a Chartered member of the Chartered Institute of Securities and Investment, as well as holding an honorary appointment as Innovation Consultant to the Royal Wolverhampton NHS Hospitals Trust. He’s is going to be an incredible asset to the panel and the conference as a whole and we’re delighted to have him.
Joining Martin will be Carol Stewart from Abounding Solutions. Carol created Abounding Solutions to quench her thirst for developing and empowering individuals and teams. She also works with organisations to develop the talent pipeline for their female employees. Carol brings over 20 years of experience in personal development, career and business coaching to our conference and we can’t wait to share her knowledge with you all.
As if that wasn’t enough, our third panelist is Marcia Lewinson from WAITS. Since 1982, WAITS (Women Acting in Today’s Society) has supported women to address issues such as welfare benefits, employment and education, business development, resettlement, domestic abuse, isolation, health, crime and the fear of crime and many more. Marcia herself is a leader, innovator, self-starter, networker and change agent. She brings a mix of skills and experience from over 18 years in the private and voluntary sectors, including being Chief Executive of a Women’s Educational Charity. Who better to form part of our ‘Business Disrupted’ panel.
Self-proclaimed ‘social mumpreneur’, Sherrill Fuller is a human dynamo, full of energy and enthusiasm to improve the lives of other people. Sherrill is the Managing Director of Know Urself CIC which provides stimulating and creative solutions to the community through engaging and empowering individuals to develop personal, social and academic skills. She is also a multi-award winning businesswoman who runs ‘Ladies Let’s Talk Biz’; the latest business and social movement to hit the city inspiring, teaching, supporting and connecting enterprising females or those thinking of stepping out.
The final jewel in the crown on this panel is Sharon Warmington. Sharon formed Suite of Services Ltd, a local business with a global reach. She works with entrepreneurs and organisations across many sectors to deliver business coaching, entrepreneurship programmes and corporate governance assessments. She is also a sought after coach, author, business consultant and motivational speaker and we’re so lucky to have her join the panel.
And of course, this session will be facilitated by Sonia Brown MBE with contributions from Andy Lee, Regional Enterprise Manager, Natwest Business Banking, Midlands & East of England.
