Let’s Support Men Tell Health

“Men Tell Health are a men’s mental health organisation, but one with a difference. Their Chief Exec is a personal friend of mine, so I hope you don’t mind that I’m reaching out to all of you. They need your help and more specifically, they need your vote! They have a project to create a pop-up version of their SpeakEasy support groups. The idea is to be able to take it to community events out and about and make it part of the social landscape to encourage men to talk about their mental health. To vote, all you have to do is:
  1. Go to this website —> https://foundation.onefamily.com/community-awards/nominated-projects/
  2. From there, in the dropdown list, go to the one marked ‘Region’ and select ‘north-east’ (alternatively you can just search for ‘Pop Up SpeakEasy‘).
  3. You’ll see about 8 projects, from all different categories.
  4. Their project is called ‘Pop Up SpeakEasy’. See it? Great.
  5. Click the ‘More’ button to the right.
  6. The next screen is the basics of the project.
  7. To the right, there’s a button that says ‘Vote’ – click that.
  8. You’ll need account to vote (well you can create a One Family one if you really want), but you can also just use either your Facebook or Twitter log in (if you have one).
  9. Once that’s done, just click ‘Vote’ and you’re done!
  10. Congratulate yourself on a job well done and then go have a cup of tea or coffee with our eternal gratitude.
