The NBWN is a non-profit organisation dedicated to raising the status and position of black women in all walks of life.

We provide dynamic initiatives, enabling women from diverse
backgrounds and occupations to develop strong professional and social contacts; high quality training and education programmes;
leadership and national recognition.


Henry Bonsu

A graduate of Magdalene College, Oxford, Henry, aged 32, has been a journalist since 1990. During a six year stint at the BBC, he worked on the Today programme, the World at One, Black Britain, Public Eye, and Breakfast News. He has written for national and regional newspapers including the Times, the Daily Express, Manchester Evening News and London Evening Standard, as well as leading black publications like the Voice, New Nation, and Pride magazine.
