The NBWN is a non-profit organisation dedicated to raising the status and position of black women in all walks of life.

We provide dynamic initiatives, enabling women from diverse
backgrounds and occupations to develop strong professional and social contacts; high quality training and education programmes;
leadership and national recognition.

Profiles

Kemi Alagbala

After graduating from the London School of Economics, Kemi qualified as a barrister before going to Belgium. Whilst in Belgium she undertook an LLM at the College of Europe (Bruges), worked for the European Commission and in private practice. Since her return to England she has worked as a lawyer for the European Scrutiny Committee and the Deregulation Committee of the House of Commons.
