The NBWN is a non-profit organisation dedicated to raising the status and position of black women in all walks of life.

We provide dynamic initiatives, enabling women from diverse
backgrounds and occupations to develop strong professional and social contacts; high quality training and education programmes;
leadership and national recognition.

Profiles

MJ Olaore

After studying Law at Liverpool University MJ qualified as a chartered accountant in 1992 after training with Price Waterhouse London. For next 3 years she worked as an accountant and travelled. In 1995 she took a position at ITN where after working on the Business Plan that resulted in the purchase of the 2 London ILR speech licences, MJ joined London News Radio in April 1996 as Financial Controller.
