To Those Who Pick and Choose Their Righteousness…

"To those who truly walk in faith—stand in truth, stand in love, and stand with those working to create a better world."

Faith is supposed to uplift, inspire and guide us toward truth, justice, and love. But when the same people who fill church pews every Sunday turn around and condemn efforts to educate, empower, and enlighten others—something is very wrong.

You sing about love but reject messages that help people break generational cycles.

You preach about kindness but remain silent on issues that oppress and marginalise. You speak of truth, yet turn a blind eye to injustice because it’s uncomfortable e.g. domestic violence.

What exactly do you stand for?

Supporting conversations that empower women, challenge broken systems, and promote knowledge is not anti-faith—it is living in the light of truth. Jesus himself was a disruptor. He challenged the status quo, stood with the oppressed, and spoke wisdom to those who were willing to listen.

So, if education, empowerment, and truth make you uncomfortable, ask yourself: Is it really faith guiding you? Or is it fear of confronting the change you claim to believe in?

Let’s be clear—silence in the face of growth is complicity. And a church that rejects knowledge is not a house of God, but a house of control.

To those who truly walk in faith—stand in truth, stand in love, and stand with those working to create a better world.
