Are You Denying Yourself For the Sake of Others?

Are you letting your old man die out more and more each day, to grow in the life of Christ? What comes to mind are fruit trees! That farmer will tilt the ground until the soil gets soft enough to plant seeds in the ground.

Once the trees start to grow, he prunes the trees so the harvest can be ripe and sweet. This is how our lives are in Christ.

God touched someone’s heart to come to us to minister to our hearts. Every now and then, someone came to water what was planted in our life.

As we saw the Children of God passing, whether we were in the mall, on the streets, in the grocery stores, or heard the Word in a local church, we were being watered by the Spirit of God. Those trees came to fruition and is now bringing forth fruit. Good fruit, I might add.

Who doesn’t want to bite into a piece of sweet fruit? It tastes great, enlightens the senses and brings a smile to your face. In the same way God drew us with His Love and Kindness, we must be the same.

To do this, we must lay down our lives, denying ourselves so the Spirit of God can manifest to others who God places in our paths. There are no accidents and others are always watching us. They see something they need and don’t know how to get there. God is drawing them. Are you denying yourself for the sake of others? You never know what others see in your life. They may see the Love of God, reaching out to them, letting them know they don’t have to feel lonely or depressed.

They may see that glorious smile God has placed on your face. Letting them know they too, can be truly happy being a Son of God.

They may see you being so content, that your peace is unspeakable. God draws others through our lives when we submit ourselves to Him. Are you walking in the fullness of Christ? Are you walking after the Spirit of God and not after your flesh? The Word of God says let this mind be in you which is also in Christ Jesus. We’re supposed to be likeminded, having the same mind being on one accord. When the world sees us fellowshipping, being in unity, did you know that God is using that situation as well to draw them in?

They may not have a friend in this world. But God through us will let them know they have a whole Kingdom that supports them being in the body of Christ. God loves them just as much as He loves us. And the same love, we’re supposed to show forth to the unbelievers. Every time we think on whatsoever things are true, whatsoever things are honest, whatsoever things are just, whatsoever things are pure, whatsoever things are lovely, whatsoever things are of good report; we’re delighting ourselves in the Lord. God in turn is manifesting Himself to the world through our lives. This is the Love of God… Is that Love radiating from our hearts? SMILE TODAY, Deny Yourself…. You’re being watched by the unbelievers… Jeremiah 31:3, Philippians 2:1-5, Matthew 7:16-20, Philippians 4:8-9
