GetSet for Growth is delighted to have won the SME Finance award at The Great British Business Show 2016. Held at ExCel London, the GetSet East London team pipped five other nominees to the post.
The SME Finance Award is specifically designed to honour the most innovative financial product or service currently available in the SME marketplace.
Nominees were judged on their capacity to assist economic growth and the level of financial assistance they offer to SMEs in order for them to reach their full potential; exactly what GetSet was brought to the market to do. Its innovation in providing both strategic market and finance expertise was a critical factor in winning the award. GetSet for Growth East London Project Director, Gregg Harding says

The Business Show proved to be two fantastic days, with over 27,000 visitors attending along with a variety of businesses, suppliers and support services like GetSet for Growth.
The show was a massive success for the team who saw an additional 63 clients sign up to receive ongoing support from this award-winning team.

Since its original launch in 2013, the service has more than proven its success in helping businesses combat the two biggest barriers for growth – access to finance and access to customers.
With over 2,000 businesses benefiting to date, GetSet has played an active role in helping businesses to secure over £5.5 million nationally to support their growth ambitions as well as creating jobs, increasing turnover and profitability, breaking into new markets and, more importantly, up-skilling business owners so they feel better equipped to plan and manage their growth opportunities in the future.
