You may have been blessed with exceptional talent, in some cases more than others. Be grateful that God has bestowed you with these unique talents.
Your responsibility is to discover your talent and utilise it to its fullest capacity.
Your talent will give you the edge especially if you are able to fully utilise it, package it and monetize your gifts.
Dedicate yourself to your craft, so that when others are sleeping you are working on your craft, getting better and improving by the day.
By doing this, you will be able to easily and effortlessly outplay, outperform and outclass your peers.
Stop trying to be like everyone else, the fact is: you cannot do it like anyone else or be like anyone else, it is far easier and less complicated to JUST BE YOURSELF! You are unique!
Your greatness is hidden in that thing that comes naturally to you, like a gift, it brings you immense satisfaction. Your talent is that thing that makes your mind, body and spirit sing, it will easily keep you up at night because you want to solve, fix or reconnect with it because it inspires you to bring out “the genius” within and makes you come alive.
Attack your fears; being scared to do something is a signal that it is time to change- “a make your mind up time” request. It is a time to pay attention to the signals that you are experiencing in your body and mind. Pay attention! Blink and you might miss it.
Decide what path you are taking – your path is unique no can take you there, each person is allocated their own unique destiny, that is why although we all are living life, our stories are different, similar but not the same. You cannot do it like anyone else so find what works for you and work it!
YOUR TALENT SPEAKS VOLUMES ... Your talent will draw attention to yourself, others will look on, some with amazement and others with envy, sometimes shooting questions at you like “who do you think you are?”
The fact they can ask these questions means your genius has already been unleashed “a genius stands before them”. Although they may not recognise “your genius”, or even want to acknowledge the “genius in you,” the point is it your responsibility to connect with your genius and unleash it as soon as possible.
It is more likely that those with less talent and unsavoury motives will try to crush you, put you down with disparaging remarks or copy you without acknowledging you as their inspiration.
Such behaviour shows their own immaturity and inadequacy, because perhaps deep down inside, witnessing your genius makes them feel inferior.
Such individuals and groups do not want you to recognise that you are talented/gifted, and worst, they do not want you to step into your power, because once you do, they know you will eclipse them, growing in strength and brilliance, perhaps leaving them in the dust. As a result of your talent insecure individuals/groups may want to shun you, ostracise you, bully you or try to intimidate you all the while hoping to crush your spirit. Fight back! Don’t get bitter, get better!
Take time to recognise and define your talent, begin to unleash it, and do not ever apologise for being too talented! Let your talent speak!
No doubt it will silence your critics – like insignificant shadows, they will diminish into the background and your bright light in the form of your talent will drive you on into the arena of Kings and Queens.
Know that in the right arena you will be celebrated, in the wrong arena you will be criticised, ridiculed and condemned. TALENTED PEOPLE ... Michael Jackson, Beyonce Knowles, Stevie Wonder, Oprah Winfrey, Michael Jordan, Venus Williams, Queen Latifah, Missy Elliott, Serena Williams, Don Cheadle, Denzel Washington, Tyler Perry, Berry Gordy, Diana Ross, Will Smith, Samuel L Jackson, Usher, Vanessa Williams, Tiger Woods, Thierry Henry, Craig David, John Legend, Nia Long, Ice Cube, Kelly Rowland, JLS, Alexandra Burke, Leona Lewis, Alicia Keys, Mariah Carey, Whitney Houston etc it was their talent that opened doors – it was their talent that silence people into keeping those doors open!
If their talent can open doors, then understand that your talent can do the same and much more!
DON'T BE BAMBOOZLED - YOU ARE TALENTED!!!
Your talents will elevate you – so work harder to let your light shine, and place yourself in arenas where your talents will be celebrated, standing before Kings and Queens.
As the old adage says “you have to be twice as good as the rest!” The fact that you already are, has been as a result of you being blessed with talent(s), pushing yourself, denying yourself, sacrificing your time and energy to perfect your craft - you kept going even when you did not think you could.
Your talent is like a lover it needs attention, and it will keep bugging you to let your genius out and unleash those talents/gifts unto the world. Discover your talent, nurture it, develop it, then find your rhythm, catch your vision and run with it! So what are you waiting for? Let your talent speak!
