People ask me all the time; How long have you been doing Art?
Answer: Since I could hold a pen!
I always joke that I could draw before I could write. But there's a deep truth in that statement.
Whilst my siblings sat down in the evenings to do their homework, my mum occupied me with sheets of plain paper and a pen.
I was told to draw something and tell her a story.... so began my affair with Art.
Although I never followed my passion, it has always been an integral part of my life.
I express my emotions through it. I Cry through it. Laugh through it. Think through it. Love through it. It is my therapy.
And my dream is to be able to utilise my gift every day. My foundations are solid like a rock. Now I'm building my house... and it's called ShayGon Designs...
